About Nadia
Experience. Perspective. Trust.
Nadia Bettac is a Texas attorney, mediator, and educator with more than 15 years of litigation experience representing plaintiffs, defendants, and insurers.
Having worked on both sides of the docket, she brings a unique perspective to dispute resolution, litigation strategy, and client advocacy.
Throughout her career, Nadia has handled hundreds of civil disputes, tried numerous jury cases, argued motions, and guided clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Her experience spans personal injury, insurance, commercial, and other civil matters, giving her a practical understanding of how cases are evaluated, negotiated, and resolved.
Nadia founded Bettac Advocacy and Mediation because she believes that legal disputes deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether serving as a mediator, advocating for an injured client, or consulting with attorneys on litigation strategy, her focus remains the same: helping people make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.
In addition to her legal practice, Nadia serves as a lecturer in the Advocacy Department at the University of Texas School of Law, where she teaches trial-related subjects including trial procedure, evidentiary objections, and oral advocacy. She also coaches competitive mock trial teams and has worked with a national championship program, helping develop the next generation of trial lawyers.
Beyond the classroom, Nadia frequently speaks and writes on topics related to law, advocacy, and professional development. She is also a co-author of Law Moms: Juggling Motherhood, Ambition and Personal Fulfillment, an Amazon bestselling book featuring the experiences and insights of women in the legal profession.
Nadia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law. She is licensed in Texas and Florida and is active in numerous professional organizations, including the Travis County Women Lawyers' Association, Austin Bar Association, the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas, and the Robert W. Calvert Inn of Court.
At the center of Nadia's practice is a simple belief: trust is earned through preparation, perspective, and a commitment to understanding the people behind every case.
